Install ZotLit
Install the ZotLit plugin in Obsidian.
ZotLit is a desktop-only Obsidian plugin. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux; mobile is not supported.
Update the Obsidian installer first
ZotLit needs Obsidian 1.14.2 or newer, and your installer version must be 1.13.4 or newer. Obsidian's in-app update does not replace the installer. Check yours in Settings > About, then read how to update the Obsidian installer. If the installer is older, ZotLit does not load.
Install the plugin
You can find ZotLit in the Obsidian community plugin directory: View ZotLit.
Open the plugin listing
Click the link above, or open Settings > Community plugins in Obsidian, select Browse, and search for "ZotLit". You can also use this deep link:
Show ZotLit in ObsidianInstall and enable
Click Install, then Enable.
Next steps
On a new install, ZotLit then opens your Zotero library in the Library View. Follow the tutorial to open your library and create your first literature note.
